Smooth Out Wrinkles and Stretch Marks With Coconut Oil

Are you struggling with age-related wrinkles on your face or stretch marks after having a baby? If so, you might want to use coconut oil to help clear up those fine lines and wrinkles. While it might not get rid of them completely, it has shown to be very effective with continued use.

Use Coconut Oil On Its Own

Coconut oil is safe to use directly on your skin, which is why so many people rely on it. If you have ever used vitamin E oil to try to get rid of your stretch marks, then you know how to use oil on your lines and wrinkles. You need just a tiny amount, but you might want to warm up the oil first. Since some people do have skin allergies to it, it is good to test the coconut oil on a small area of your body first to make sure it doesn’t get red or itchy, then use it on your lines, wrinkles, and stretch marks. Just apply it to the skin and let it get absorbed. It does not need to be rinsed from your skin.

Try Adding Shea Butter

This is another great option because you not only are using more than one oil, but the shea butter is very moisturizing and can restore the elasticity in your skin. This is super helpful for both wrinkles and stretch marks. You need to melt your oil and butter first, so you want to grab a saucepan and heat up a teaspoon of coconut oil, then add in a teaspoon of another type of oil, such as almond oil or olive oil. You will then add in a tablespoon of shea butter, stirring everything together until it is melted and mixed well. Let it cool until you can touch it, then rub it on your stretch marks. Do this twice a day.

Try a Dairy Coconut Oil Mixture

This mixture is going to use coconut oil along with dairy products like milk and egg whites to help with those wrinkles. The eggs can also tighten your skin, which helps with reducing wrinkles and prevent sagging of your skin. You should first warm up the coconut oil to get it close to liquid, adding it to a bowl with an egg white and a tablespoon of milk. About a teaspoon of coconut oil is good for this amount. You can also add in a teaspoon of organic and raw honey to the mixture. Mix them together, then add to a container. Apply it directly to your skin on the areas where you want to get rid of fine lines and wrinkles, leaving it on for about 30 minutes. You then can rinse it off with warm water.
